BrickStreet is hosting a series of training sessions for our appointed agencies and general agencies, Pricing and Processing in an Open Market, to outline the details of our new products, which are designed to allow us to compete more effectively in the open market.
There are three basic areas of competition: price, product and service. We are well positioned with all three. BrickStreet, working closely with the West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner and the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), has developed new strategies to provide our agents the ability to do what is best for our policyholders – provide their clients with the best coverage at a fair premium with top service.
These training sessions will cover:
- BrickStreet's Loss Cost Multipliers - Tiering
- Minimum Premium
- Schedule Rating
- Premium Discount
- Waiver of Subrogation
- New Coal Class Codes
- WV Fire and Casualty Surcharge
- New Endorsements
- New Business and Renewal Processing
- Future Enhancements - Quote Proposal & Algorithm
Over the next few months, we will see many insurance companies enter the West Virginia workers' compensation market. Some will be ready to compete on July 1; others will take their time. All of the carriers entering the market will find that BrickStreet’s team of insurance professionals is up to the challenge!
