Effective this month, BrickStreet Insurance will require a new application for coverage with each Agent of Record (AOR) letter submitted for existing accounts handled through our independent agencies. Your agent may submit the application on either the BrickStreet or the Acord application form. The application and the AOR must be signed by the insured.

Also this month, BrickStreet will discontinue the use of the BrickStreet AOR form. All new Agent of Record agreements should be submitted on an Acord form. If an AOR is received without the application for coverage, it will be returned as unacceptable. The date it is then returned to us with a properly completed application is the date that will trigger the AOR process as it now exists. We will not backdate to the date the first AOR was received without an application.

We will accept the BrickStreet form for any AOR forms that are currently in process. We will be removing the BrickStreet AOR and application from our Web site very soon. Please contact your BrickStreet agent for additional information.
