360 Teams: Government Accounts 

So far in our team introduction series, we've presented our Standard Accounts and Small Accounts teams. This week, we would like to familiarize our readers with our Government Accounts team.

The Government Accounts team, led by Business Director Lisa Hamrick, is responsible for all policies with municipal, county and state government, county boards of education and higher education.

Similar to the other business teams, Government Accounts provides a 360° approach to the services provided, including underwriting, claims management, safety and loss control, premium audit, nurse case management and return-to-work programs.

The distinguishing characteristic for this team is the need to understand and incorporate the varying state personnel policies into BrickStreet business practices. This includes the ability to discuss and adapt not only potential procedures, but policy periods based on the budget year that starts every July 1.

Although BrickStreet will maintain this policyholder demographic until 2012, that does not lessen our commitment to provide exemplary customer service to all policyholders. We welcome the challenges presented in the Government team, and look forward to a mutually beneficial business relationship with each account.
