For Claimants Requiring Out-of-State Medical Care

BrickStreet Mutual Insurance uses the First Health® Workers’ Compensation Network as the Preferred Provider Organization for claimants needing medical treatment outside of West Virginia. First Health medical professionals accept BrickStreet’s fee schedule as payment in full for necessary medical treatment. This ensures that claimants receive quality health care while protecting them from being billed for charges not covered by BrickStreet.

First Health is not involved in the approval of medical services rendered to BrickStreet claimants.

By utilizing a First Health® Workers’ Compensation Network medical provider, claimants are assured that BrickStreet will cover authorized services. Failure to utilize a First Health provider beyond what is required for emergency care may result in a delay of care and may make the claimant responsible for treatment costs.
